 I can hardly believe it, but it's true! My new book, my first ever Author/illustrator work is formatted, downloaded to kpd, and I've held the proof in my hands and poured over the finished pages! Now I finally get to reveal the cover! Publication day is June 10th,  2024! Pre-orders for the paperback was not an option I was given, unfortunately,  but I am releasing the kindle version for pre-order now.  I'm told if the ebook gets enough attention it will help Amazon's algorithm "see" my book and push the physical version out for more people to see. Hello there...it's been a bit

 Hello friends! It's been about a year since I've updated the blog but I haven't slowed down on my art related projects a bit! I did take a big step back from social media last year in order to focus on the art for a book that will be coming out in the near future and to welcome our 8th child, born in January! A recent goal of mine has been to work on reviving my old @ink_and_tome IG account into something that is more up-to-date and reflecting my current work. It's kind of a challenge trying to resurrect a long dormant page over there, and the algorithms don't give you much help, but it has been fun slowly reconnecting with other authors and artists and building a nice portfolio of work back up.  One way that my newly active Instagram was helpful recently, was in spreading the word about a local event!
