Storytime at the Library.

I recently was privileged to read "A Pumpkin for Grubbs" for a fall storytime at the Searcy County Library in Marshall! They hosted a book signing as well, and it was such a sweet event! Really one of my favorites so far.

Getting to see my book pop up in the online book catalog gave me a little thrill, I'm not gonna lie!

A couple of the kids got to tag along for the fun! Aengus might have had a little too much fun! He really loved the craft time but the photo ops were certainly well loved, too! Ember was wonderful about getting some nice pictures for me.

Signing the library copy was a fun experience, too. Our librarians are best! Thank you guys for all that you do for our community!

No idea what I was saying here, but I look excited!😅

My mama got to hang out for the day, too! I love spending time with family!

The group we had was fantastic! The kids listened to the story really well and asked great questions afterwards. Thank you to everyone who made the effort to come on out!

Living the dream.

Hello there...it's been a bit

Hello friends! It's been about a year since I've updated the blog but I haven't slowed down on my art related projects a bit! I was able to participate in my first ever author fest and wow, what a time! A whirlwind of over 40 local authors, coffee, music, good eats and bookish merch, I only...

Cover Reveal (and pre-orders open)!

I can hardly believe it, but it's true! My new book, my first ever Author/illustrator work is formatted, downloaded to kpd, and I've held the proof in my hands and poured over the finished pages! Now I finally get to reveal the cover! Publication day is June 10th,  2024! Pre-orders for the paperback was not an option I was given, unfortunately,  but I am releasing the kindle version for pre-order now.  I'm told if the ebook gets enough attention it will help Amazon's algorithm "see" my book and push the physical version out for more people to see. I've actually priced the ebook version as low as it would let me as a "thank you" to those who order before release day! I'm linking that HERE .
